2021 Lone Star Board Ballot

Alex has volunteered for 8 years at Camp Periwinkle and Camp YOLO from junior counselor to head counselor. Camp YOLO hosts Texas Children’s patients across oncology, hematology, and endocrine units and provided a new found appreciation for Hematology and blood disorders and a desire to help. He has served on fundraising committees and volunteer groups for Periwinkle Iron Sommelier and Gala, Texas Exes Houston Chapter Gala, and founded and personally solicited donations across alumni base for a Scholarship in honor of Professor battling Leukemia at University of Texas at Austin. Alex has served multiple years on the board of directors for the University COOP at UT Austin ($40MM annual revenue entity that donates profits back to the University) providing strategy, audit, and executive compensation guidance. Alex is excited for the opportunity to serve and give back to the community.
